Yesterday, H.E. Ambassador Jeanne Crauser met with H.E. Hana Tehelku, Director General of the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority. The meeting provided an opportunity to continue discussions on financial-sector projects between Luxembourg and Ethiopia, particularly in view of COP32.
As her tenure in Ethiopia comes to a close, H.E. Ambassador Jeanne Crauser met with H.E. President Taye Atske Selassie for a farewell meeting. They welcomed the progress achieved in economic cooperation, financial sector development, and capacity building, while reaffirming their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties. Luxembourg remains dedicated to supporting knowledge exchange, sustainable finance, and opportunities for deeper engagement.
Today, Luxembourg joins all African nations in celebrating this special day of unity and diversity. In Addis Ababa, at the heart of the African Union, we joined 54 countries in reflecting on the achievements of the past 63 years, as well as the projects ahead. Happy Africa Day!
